This article is from the WeChat official account: Phoenix News (ID: ifeng news). The authors are Wang Zhiyan and Qiao Yumeng. The original title is: "Myanmar missing person document: 1564 pieces of information asking for help". The title is from Visual China

At 3:56 am on January 11, 2025, as the FM840 flight from Bangkok, Thailand to Shanghai landed, actor Wang Xing posted on Weibo: "At this moment, I have returned to the embrace of my motherland

He is the first person to become famous in 2025 for being scammed into a Myanmar scam park, and may also be one of the fastest people to successfully escape from such a "terror valley" in recent years: from disappearing on the Myanmar Thailand border on January 3, to his girlfriend Jia Jia posting for help on social media on January 5, and to Thai police confirming on January 7 that the missing Chinese actor Wang Xing has been found, in less than 4 days.

When the news of Wang Xing's rescue came, a WeChat group that had been depressed for a long time boiled over. This is a mutual aid group of over 400 people, most of whom claim to be family members of missing victims of Myanmar's electronic fraud. Ms. Dai, one of the family members, said, "Everyone's first reaction is that (their own relatives) can also be saved

Subsequently, Ms. Dai initiated an online document to collect an overview of "National Family and Friends Scammed in Myanmar (Northern Myanmar+Eastern Myanmar)" and named it the "Star Home Plan". In the origin of the action, she wrote, 'The news of the actor Star being rescued is a great relief, but it also gives a glimmer of hope to many families across the country who have been lost in the corners and have suffered the same fate.'. A family member also wrote in the form that they hope the 'child like the stars' can be rescued.

When Wang Xing was first rescued, there were only 174 pieces of information in this document. Over the past week, this list has continued to expand, and as of the evening of January 12th, this document has registered 1564 distress messages. Although the numbering is slightly repeated - anxious people inevitably seek help repeatedly, this number is far from the entirety of the stranded Chinese in Myanmar. Their location is also difficult to distinguish between "northern Myanmar" and "eastern Myanmar", as people often circulate in different parks and are "sold piglets", and the specific location is unknown. These expressions often have awkward sentences and misspelled words, presenting the tip of the iceberg encountered by these trapped individuals.

After reading this document, the media person "Uncle Wa" described it as "perhaps the spine chilling documentary I have read in recent years".

Guo Jingxuan, a scholar in the field of computational communication, conducted data analysis on the document (note: at the time of analysis, there were only 1141 registered information), and the vast majority of the trapped individuals were male, accounting for 94.22%, while female accounted for 4.21% (the remaining gender information was missing);

According to the document, over 80% of people were trapped in 2024 (913 people), and at the same time that Wang Xing was rescued quickly, in January 2025, 39 people were still trapped one after another (a 24-year-old young man with the number 551 in the northern Myanmar table, even like Wang Xing in a parallel universe - he flew to Bangkok at 11 pm on January 6th and lost contact after sending a message to his girlfriend around 1 pm on January 7th);

After analyzing the frequency of 1141 pieces of information in the "Progress Demands" column, the word "contact" stood out prominently, with a total of 794 mentions. Phrases related to the word 'rescue' (such as' save ',' rescue ',' seek help ') appeared 344 times. The high-frequency words in the table also include 'report safety', 49 times; Wash your face with tears, 36 times.

We tried to have a conversation with the families of the 8 trapped people. They have all reported to the police, and 5 of them have been confirmed to have been filed. When it comes to whether real names can be used, family members have been considering for a long time: once the "company personnel" discover that family members are calling for help, those who are trapped will be beaten, have their hands and feet broken, or even die. To protect the safety of their trapped loved ones, these families chose to appear under pseudonyms and hoped to come up with a name that would not be detected by the scam company, but would be clear to the trapped family at a glance - they wanted the trapped people to know, 'You are being cared for by your family'.

1、 When I get home, I'll have the baby's formula money

Li Xia's younger brother is the 27th person trapped in the "Myanmar East" form. He only read until fifth grade of elementary school and had not yet married a wife when he was almost 30 years old. My younger brother said he wanted to earn more money to buy a house and find a wife, "so a friend introduced him to an overseas job with a salary of over 10000 yuan. Now he has been scammed to Myanmar for almost four years and has been resold seven or eight times by different scam companies.

Jiale has just been married for a year, and his wife Xiaoke is 37 weeks pregnant. Last summer, it was always raining in Fujian, and the construction site was dead. In early September, in front of a food delivery rider, Jiale began to talk about business with a "Jiangxi friend" to see if they could do some small business. On the morning of October 2nd, National Day, at around 5 o'clock, Jiale went out wearing short sleeves and shorts, saying that he would go back to Jiangxi on the same day, but he didn't come home that day. At 1am on the 3rd, he reported his safety to Xiaoke on QQ, saying that he was in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan. "When I get home, we will have the baby's formula money and our expenses. In fact, the next day he was scammed into the Wa State in northern Myanmar, becoming the 54th victim on the "Northern Myanmar" list.

When reviewing the basic data of the archives, "Uncle Wa" believed that a considerable number of these missing persons were mentioned as having debts, failed careers, and unable to find jobs, "seemingly portraying the image of a middle-aged disillusioned person".

Li Xia's younger brother and Jiale undoubtedly fit this portrait, and there is also 733, 32 years old, who is trapped in northern Myanmar and "wants to provide her with better treatment conditions because of her late stage uremia"; On the 799th in northern Myanmar, "three underage children and an elderly mother with limited mobility"... The "pillars" of these families urgently need to turn over and change their situation, so "under heavy pressure, they believe their friends say they can come back from a high paying job there in half a month" (on the 83rd in northern Myanmar), or they get involved in the gray area and "carry goods".

Overseas high paying jobs are one of the most common means of deception - the term 'high paying' appears 105 times in the table. The Thai law firm, Wen Hua Law Firm, hired by Wang Xing's younger brother, also told us that "high salary recruitment" has always been an important means of luring people into Myanmar's electronic fraud, usually offering 2-3 times the salary of domestic equivalent positions.

Another type of "high-income" earning opportunity is engaging in illegal "grey industries", such as being a "backpacker", which involves smuggling goods (such as gold, cancer drugs, watches, and other luxury goods) from overseas to China, with a one-time reward of up to tens of thousands of yuan. Overseas electronic fraud groups fabricate such risky ways of making money, recruit personnel, and logically demand that they "keep it confidential" before deceiving them to engage in electronic fraud overseas.

After a young man named Yang Shaowu disappeared, his brother Li Shaowen found several anchors who discussed "fishing for the wrong side" according to the following list of his Kwai account. Li Shaowen contacted the other party in the live broadcast room, pretending to owe a lot of money for gambling. Invite him to Xishuangbanna as a "backpacker" for convenience. He said you shouldn't gamble, you should be kind to your family. He said a lot of things that I was willing to listen to seriously, "Li Shaowen recalled. Then, the other party kept urging him to book a flight and leave as soon as possible, and even complained that he was being lazy. After reporting to the police, Li Shaowen learned that his younger brother's phone signal showed that he was in the Wa State of Myanmar. Now my younger brother has become the 30th in northern Myanmar. He was 17 years old when he went missing and is still underage.

According to Guo Jingxuan's analysis of the age portraits of the trapped, their average age is 25.85 years old, and the age with the highest frequency of appearance is 22 years old, an age when they have not yet experienced the world and long for distant places. Uncle Wa wrote that what saddens him more than those middle-aged disappointments are "young people under the age of 20". He believes that many of these people's motives for leaving the country are simply to support their families or raise money for sick family members. However, due to their limited social experience, stubbornness, and kindness, they have become prey for scammers:

557 in northern Myanmar, 20 years old, "People I met online told him that he can earn more salary in Xishuangbanna", "My child is too young, he believes everything others say";

841, a 19-year-old college graduate from northern Myanmar;

857 in northern Myanmar, 18 years old, whose life and death are still unknown;

Min Dong 255, 20 years old, a total of 9 classmates were deceived and brought to Myanmar. The case has been reported to the police for a long time, but there has been no news so far;

Myanmar North 209 also went missing at the age of 18, was a minor at the time of being deceived, and went missing after arriving in Bangkang, Myanmar on August 15, 2024. During this period, he made a video call to his family once. At that time, he had been shaved to a bald head like Wang Xing on the screen, with a haggard expression, but no signal of seeking help was sent.

2、 'Thailand' surpasses' Myanmar ',' Bulawadi 'surpasses' Northern Myanmar'

When describing the process of being deceived, at least two family members of the trapped mentioned similarities to the path of Wang Xing's disappearance:

634 in northern Myanmar, 33 years old, disappeared on August 10, 2024. "My younger brother and Wang Xingxing followed the same route, flying to Thailand and then taking a car to the border of Mae Sot before taking a boat to Myanmar;

629, 27 years old, "My younger brother went missing on November 18th in Mae Sot, Thailand, at the same address as actor Wang Xingxing. Suddenly one day, this Chongqing native who rarely speaks Mandarin used a strange tone WeChat voice to report his safety to his friend, but there has been no news since then.

But these people who have similar beginnings to Wang Xing often have vastly different endings, such as 920 North Burma, 22 years old, who was kidnapped after leaving Bangkok airport and directly arrived in Mae Sot, but disappeared at the Thai Myanmar border, and the Mae Sot police have made no progress, so the embassy has no way.

In the "Progress Demands" section of the document, the occurrence of the word "Thailand" (435 times) even exceeds that of Myanmar (424 times), which largely indicates that after "Myanmar" became a high-risk destination, "Thailand" has been used by fraudsters as a safer packaging and transit point for scams. Correspondingly, the term 'tourism' appears 37 times. Registered on Myanmar East 254, my family applied for a visa to travel to Thailand on June 12th and went with friends. I have been missing since then; North Myanmar 174, East Myanmar 43, and East Myanmar 59 all mentioned that their relatives went missing after being invited to travel to Yunnan.

It is worth noting that the term 'Miaowadi' (180 times) is even more frequent than 'northern Myanmar' (78 times).

On January 10, 2025, the Ministry of Public Security of China held a press conference and said that by the end of 2024, large-scale blackmail parks in northern Myanmar near the Chinese border had been completely eradicated, more than 53000 Chinese suspect involved in fraud had been captured, and the Kokang "Four Families" criminal group in northern Myanmar had been completely destroyed. Under the strong crackdown and deterrence of the public security, the number of cases and losses of telecommunications network fraud nationwide have significantly decreased. However, the spokesperson admitted that the current crime situation remains severe and complex. One of the complexities is that there are still a large number of electronic fraud parks overseas.

Nowadays, Myawadi on the Myanmar Thailand border is one of the paradise places for such emerging electronic fraud parks. In Burmese, Myowadi is a beautiful name that means' Land of Green Gems'. Miaowadi is currently under the joint jurisdiction of multiple armed forces, and the Electric Fraud Park usually seeks refuge from armed forces. It is separated from the Thai border of Mae Sot by a border river. In August 2024, Myanmar North No. 634 was caught by scammers while crossing the river by boat and chose to jump into the river. However, it was rescued and beaten up.

Xie Ling, an associate professor at the Criminal Investigation College of Southwest University of Political Science and Law, once published a paper stating that among the 122 electronic fraud dens that have been cracked in 2020-2021, most of them are located in northern Myanmar, and a few are in Miaowadi in southern Myanmar, "forming a hotspot area where the two major fraud dens in the north and south are concentrated. Recently, Xu Liping, a researcher at the Asia Pacific and Global Strategy Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, told Phoenix TV that there was a strange phenomenon in Miaowadi in 2024: its land and housing prices had tripled compared to 2023- "because fraudulent activities require parks, renting houses, and buying land." In other words, Miaowadi is developing rapidly, and fraudulent activities are becoming increasingly rampant.

At the same time as escaping in all directions under heavy punches, the Electric Fraud Garden also upgraded comprehensively with a "magic height of one zhang". In the "Star Home Plan" document, over 80% of the victims who were deceived in 2024 were trapped, with a total of 913 people. October was the highest month of the year, with 178 people missing. The Ministry of Public Security also mentioned at a press conference that another similarity and complexity of the severe crime situation lies in the accelerating renovation of fraud methods, tailoring fraud scripts for people of different ages, professions, and educational backgrounds, and targeting a wide range of victims. On October 12, 2024, a documentary director named 749 in northern Myanmar told his family that he would come back in two or three days after leaving, but he has not returned yet; Wang Xing's law firm also stated that "fake cast recruiting actors" is a novel form of fraud.

Wang Xing's girlfriend once mentioned on Weibo that he went to Thailand at the invitation of actor coordinator "Yan Sixteen" - a former director in the industry. These days, at least 10 professionals in the entertainment industry have claimed to have had contact with "Yan Sixteen" or received filming invitations from him. Actor Zuo Jing has not had direct contact with "Yan Sixteen", but she told us that the crew members who were in contact with her claimed to be Belia from Galamei Communication Company, and later other actors confirmed that this person and "Yan Sixteen" belong to the same company.

Zuo Hui recalled that she was invited to shoot a short drama in Thailand by the other party, and what attracted her the most was that the group news mentioned that the director was Viraqi Tungira, who had previously directed "Fake Me". On the morning of December 29, 2024, Zuo Mingxin, who had already arrived in Bangkok, had doubts and sent a private message to Viraki Tungira himself on Instagram. That afternoon, the other party replied to her, "That's not me, be careful of fraud

Zuo Jing and three other actors delayed joining the group while booking their flight back to their home country the next day. They quietly changed hotels around 2am on the 30th and finally returned safely.

Model Yang Zeqi also encountered the same scam. He is not anyone on the table, but he also failed to escape in time and is now trapped. Ms. Mou, her cousin, told us that Yang Zeqi saw the announcement in the "Guangzhou Wedding Sample Announcement Group" on December 8th last year, which stated that "Thai cinema is recruiting actors for the filming of anti drug police and crime films... The duration is about 20 days, with a daily salary of 8-1k yuan and full board and lodging included. I posted my profile and tried acting through video call. Two or three days later, Yang Zeqi said she was going to Thailand to film.

Because they are afraid of missing out on job opportunities, they are all doing one job and earning one income. If they miss this opportunity, the next time may not necessarily be when, "Ms. Mou said.

3、 I'm going to work now

At 16:14 pm on December 29th, 9 days after going missing, Yang Zeqi's mother suddenly received a video call from him. Yang Zeqi sat in front of a white wall, wearing a black half sleeved shirt, with a table in front of her and her hands resting on it. He said he is doing well and has been filming for the past two days. He also mentioned that the director values him very much and that his filming time will be extended. He may not be able to reapply for his passport until a year later.

My mother noticed that the color at the corners of his eyes was very dark, and the whites of his eyes were noticeably red. He explained that he was allergic to makeup and scratched himself. Although Yang Zeqi's appearance is not different from usual except for this scar, his mother always thinks that his son's state is obviously wrong. When he says good news, his voice is not happy, and his eyes also seem to be looking at someone outside the camera. Looking at the injury at the corner of her son's eye, the mother cried. At this moment, Yang Zeqi suddenly stood up and said, 'I have to work,' before hastily hanging up the phone. The six minute video call abruptly ended, and his phone shut down again.

In the "Star Home Plan" document, "company" appears 105 times, "work" 56 times, and "work" 55 times, occasionally making people feel like they are just ordinary "workers" - until "Myanmar North No. 4" appears, a 25-year-old male who says he is "beaten every day" and "works 20 hours a day".

Li Xia's younger brother, Miandong 27, who went abroad to earn money at the age of 30 to marry a wife, has now been sold to the Miaowadi Huanya Industrial Park. The walls of the fraud park are very high, about seven or eight meters, and every few tens of meters there is a Burmese person guarding with a gun. According to Li Xia, there are about 10000 people in the Huanya Park, and there are many companies inside. Many of the Chinese who were cheated there came from Guizhou, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Guangxi and Henan. There are team leaders, agents, small business owners of companies, property management, and big business owners in the park, with clear hierarchy.

In the park, their daily "working hours" are as long as seventeen or eighteen hours. Some companies work at night and work until the afternoon of the next day; Some work in the morning until 2am; Some work for three or four hours, take a break for one or two hours, and then wake up to continue working, repeatedly tossing and turning. In the company, you have no name, only a code name. You cannot speak or inquire, you must obey. When Li Xia's younger brother was at work, two thugs stared at him from left to right.

The term 'work' refers to telecommunications fraud. According to Red Star News, on January 7, 2025, Wang Xing, who was rescued, talked about his rookie training on a Thai police plane: after shaving his head, he was forced to undergo two to three days of fraud training, mainly text fraud, and had not yet touched on voice or phone fraud skills. He saw that there were dozens of Chinese in the building, and he was afraid that they would make a living by wire fraud next - just under this fear, the number 123 in the document of Myanmar East served as a "killing pig dish" in Miaowadi: "Yongsheng Group asked them to use Momoga female friends, and then buy funds, if they could not cheat, they would be beaten".

In some "humanized" parks during spare time, "working people" can contact their families.

Brother, I'm in Myanmar. "These were the first words spoken by Yang Shaowu on the 30th of the Northern Myanmar Alliance, and his voice sounded normal.

Are you in Myanmar? I don't know, "said Li Shaowen. But he actually called the police and checked his brother's phone signal in the Wa State of northern Myanmar.

Have you been looking for me? "Yang Shaowu asked.

I didn't look for you, "Li Shaowen said. He speculated that someone was watching from the side and dared not ask rashly.

Later, his younger brother told him that there were indeed people around him at that time - those people were holding "big guys" and "little guys" (long guns and pistols). Li Shaowen said that Yang Shaowu's boss, a Fujian Chinese, saw a "missing person notice" on his phone, allowing Yang Shaowu to contact his family under surveillance. Afterwards, my younger brother appeared irregularly. Every time we chat, we get anxious and flustered. I said we could chat for a while, but he said we hung up. There were many people queuing up behind us

As the "walking RMB" in the electronic fraud park, it allows "workers" to contact their families and urge them to pay ransom, which can also be a KPI - "ransom" appears 50 times in the document, and now the "market price" is about 300000 yuan/person: No. 972 in northern Myanmar, disappeared on January 15, 2020, was abducted before the age of 17, and has been missing ever since. They only contact their parents when they need money. In July 2024, he sent some photos of being beaten to his parents and demanded 900000 yuan; Miandong 101, 16 years old, the "company" told his elderly father who suffers from heart disease to redeem him with 200000 yuan; No. 634 in northern Myanmar, who was arrested for jumping into the river, "the park company demanded 650000 to 800000 Thai baht to redeem the person".

But those who have experienced it know that even financial losses may not necessarily prevent disasters. No. 549 in northern Myanmar belongs to the group of people who were deceived a long time ago. His family "fought over 300000 yuan there but still refused to release the person";

Miandong 203, male, 22 years old, located in Miaowadi on the last day before his disappearance. A few days later, he called his family to demand ransom. The family transferred a total of 140000 yuan in three installments, but after receiving the payment, the other party has not been heard from.

4、 Fate beyond Wang Xing: Water prison, madness, life or death uncertain

If the KPI cannot be achieved, or more seriously, if an attempt is made to escape and rebel, the terrifying scene of the Electric Fraud Park will truly unfold slowly. This is the nightmare that Wang Xing narrowly escaped from.

The husband of Ms. Mao, the head of the "Star Plan" family group, is Myanmar North 149 (note: there is overlap, he is also Myanmar North 153), who was deceived and sent to Myanmar North in May 2024. The husband occasionally sends messages, saying, 'People are killed inside, and one child has eight broken ribs. The family paid hundreds of thousands of yuan to rescue them.'.

Similarly, there is Myanmar East 92, who repeatedly told his mother not to message him because he witnessed the company killing a boy on the spot. Otherwise, he is very dangerous.

Zhang Li's daughter is from Myanmar East 119, one of the few missing women in the distress file. She was 20 years old when she was scammed. Once, the Myanmar embassy sent someone to find the company where his daughter was working, and the company owner lied to them that his daughter was there voluntarily. After the embassy staff left, his daughter went missing for over half a month. When contacted again, she said that she was locked up in a small black room, unable to eat, and was hung up and beaten.

Beating and corporal punishment are commonplace in isolated parks. Once, Li Xia's younger brother (No. 27, Miandong) was beaten until his buttocks were covered in bruises and bruises. He is afraid of getting injured in his internal organs, so he wears thicker clothes before each beating.

Besides being beaten, it's also related to the water prison. The water prison is a stinky ditch with many insects in the water. A dead person there is like a dead horse, "Li Xia's younger brother once said to her. No. 238 in northern Myanmar is located in the Miaowadi Taichang Industrial Park and is often imprisoned due to the inability to complete tasks.

There are also electric shocks and dog cages - this was told to his family by North Burma 147, who is 19 years old and went missing last month. He "secretly messaged me and told me that he was beaten and put in a dog cage by electric shock". 841 North Burma, a recent college graduate who was the same age as him, was also abducted to Dangyang, Myanmar, where he was electrocuted and placed in a dog cage.

After enduring torture, Li Xia's younger brother's vision was damaged and his memory also deteriorated. Someone has been trapped there for seven or eight years with mental problems. Li Xia told us, "There are many suicides. Someone jumped off a building, and their bodies were quietly carried away. Later, the window was sealed and they couldn't jump even if they wanted to

No.912 in northern Myanmar, around 30 years old, has been missing for many years. On July 22, 2021, his family received his death certificate, stating that he had fallen from a hotel in Mengbo County, Wa State, Myanmar. However, the family believed that the time of death (July 21) did not match the last phone call time (July 22), and the death photos sent back did not match him. They were unwilling to acknowledge this "death certificate".

Myanmar North 250 is also 30 years old and has been missing for five years since being scammed to Myanmar in 2019. When he could still be contacted in 2022, he told his family that 'his legs were covered in black and pus filled holes'. Now his life and death are uncertain, and his family is still making wishes, 'I only hope that in my lifetime I can find my younger brother'.

5、 Hope ", 195 times

The plight of those trapped in Myanmar is the same purgatory for their families.

No. 211 in northern Myanmar, 17 years old this year, was deceived and sent to Myanmar after completing the high school entrance examination in 2023. He was subjected to various forms of corporal punishment, beatings, and starvation, leaving him covered in bruises. Now in his third year, his parents have suffered from varying degrees of heart and mental problems due to excessive longing, and have been hospitalized multiple times for treatment.

Myanmar North 785, 32 years old, disappeared after flying from Chengdu to Xishuangbanna on October 31, 2024. "We only have this child, and I have suffered several heart attacks as a result. I don't know if I can still hope for my child to return in my lifetime.

857 North Burma, 18 years old, whose life and death are still unknown. "After my elderly grandmother found out, she was hospitalized due to cerebral hemorrhage.

In the family with the number 972 in northern Myanmar, where every time the son contacts, he asks his parents for money, "the mother has been hospitalized several times due to illness for several years, suffering from severe depression and insomnia.

No. 992 in northern Myanmar, two elderly people with disabilities are crying at home every day, and the youngest of the three children is in first grade.

557 North Burma, 20 years old. His grandmother is almost 80 years old and cries at home every day. His father is a illiterate farmer. The family didn't know what to do and could only helplessly write in the "Star Home Plan" document: "We're not celebrities, we're just ordinary people

Among the 8 families of the victims we have come into contact with, Wang Yan's situation in Nayong County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province is the most heartbreaking. She is a single mother with two sons who were deceived and sent to Myanmar, one in northern Myanmar (208 in northern Myanmar) and the other in eastern Myanmar (92 in eastern Myanmar).

In 2021, the mother fell and injured her left hand, which was misdiagnosed by the hospital as causing ischemic necrosis of the finger bone. The doctor said she needed surgery to replace the bone. Her eldest son used to work part-time, and in a hurry to raise money, he believed a suggestion from an elementary school classmate to go to Myanmar to do a fruit business. On July 26, 2022, the 28 year old eldest son was deceived and sent to Myanmar. Afterwards, he was trapped in a fraud company in northern Myanmar, and the team leader asked him to complete a performance of 500000 yuan within three months before he could go home, or his family could redeem him with 210000 yuan.

After Wang Yan reported to the police, they wanted to add her eldest son's QQ. At first, he didn't dare to join, but Wang Yan advised him that if he didn't take a gamble, he would have to stay there all the time. In January 2023, another police officer added her son on QQ, and coincidentally, his QQ number was kept by a male classmate who had been scammed together. The chat information was then found by the agent and team leader.

The male classmate later told his mother that they were locked up in the office by people from the company, with their hands and feet tied up, and 12 thugs wielding electric batons fiercely beating them. Wang Yan's eldest son, who is 1.72 meters tall and weighs less than 110 pounds, was beaten to shock on the spot. At night, they were tied up, their eyes blindfolded, and their mouths stuffed. Two men with guns escorted them onto a car and resold them to another company.

On September 18, 2023, a letter of assistance was sent from the Pu'er Public Security Bureau in Yunnan to the Wa State Judicial Committee in Myanmar. On October 1 of the same year, 209 rescued Chinese entered the country one after another. Wang Yan's eldest son is also among them. Wang Yan said, "At first glance, I couldn't recognize him. He was so thin that his eyes were sunken in. When we hugged each other, we burst into tears." On February 7, 2024, Wang Yan's eldest son was sentenced to one year and nine months for illegal immigration and fraud.

After her eldest son was deceived and sent to northern Myanmar, Wang Yan repeatedly reminded her youngest son not to go to that place in Myanmar. If you go again, your mother really can't survive. He agreed. Later, when the younger son learned that his brother's rib was broken, he asked for help on Kwai and brushed a "snake head". The snake head lied to him that they could retrieve his brother, but he had to personally go and pick him up. In February 2023, Wang Yan's youngest son secretly went to Myanmar. He was 22 years old at that time.

In October 2023, more than five months after going missing, the younger son contacted Wang Yan again, saying that he was in the Dongfang Hui Industrial Park in Miaowadi, Myanmar, but he didn't know which company or building it was. He said he was beaten ten times more times than his brother and even witnessed the company killing a boy on the spot.

In July 2024, Wang Yan received the last message from her youngest son. He said, Mom, don't worry, I will come back.

In contrast to another high-frequency word "hope" (195 times) in the document, according to Phoenix TV's report on January 13, 2025, the Thai and Chinese governments have established a police coordination center specifically responsible for combating telecommunications fraud, tracking missing persons lured from Thailand to neighboring countries, and increasing information exchange on human trafficking and other transnational crimes, as well as controlling illegal cross-border activities.

Wang Yan and 1563 families in the help seeking group waited in silence, eagerly anticipating. On the 54th day of northern Myanmar, the man Jiale, who went missing to earn money for his child's formula milk, and his wife Xiaoke are due to give birth on New Year's Eve in 2025.

At 2:53 am on January 11, 2025, on the night when Wang Xing was rescued and returned to China, his girlfriend Jiajia posted a Weibo post saying "Believe in light, it will eventually overcome darkness".

At a press conference held on January 10th, a spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Public Security stated that comprehensive international law enforcement cooperation is being carried out, and efforts will be made to persistently monitor and pursue the crackdown, resolutely destroying overseas fraud dens. During the days of waiting, the relatives of Myanmar East 131 wrote, "The sunshine of our great motherland shines on every dark corner. I hope my child can return safely and healthily

缅北557,20岁,“网上认识的人告诉他在西双版纳可以多挣点工资”,“孩子年纪太小了,别人说什么他都相信”;

缅北841,19岁,刚毕业的大学生;

缅北857,18岁,至今生死不明;

缅东255,20岁,一共9个同学被骗到缅甸,早就报警立案,至今没有消息;

缅北634,33岁,失踪于2024年8月10日,“我弟弟与王星星的路线基本一致,飞泰国然后汽车拉到湄索边界再坐船到缅甸”;

但过来人知道,破财也不一定能免灾。缅北549号,属于很早被骗的那一拨人,他的家人“给那边打了30多万还是不放人”;
